Latest News: 30th September - Dont know why I always forget to update this page, but we've been busy over the last few months with Gigs in July & August & Holidays in September - both Tony & Rik have been out strutting their stuff with other bands, (Sambucas & Bullfrogs) - but there are gigs organised for October & December in Aylesbury & Wycombe - watch this space for more detail 5th May - After a couple of weeks absence from the studios the Violetz are back with a new addition to the fan club (2 week old Lola - possibly the best Thing Pete The Bassist has produced). 7th April - New Dates added for the Red Lion (see Gig Page for details) 6th April - The Violetz confirmed there place as a red hot live band as they stormed thru a varied set of both new material & covers at the Phatz Bar in Maidenhead. 29th March - Phatz Gig confirmed Plus Red Lion TBc 2nd march - Live performances at two venues, in two different towns & in two different counties in one cold evening. . . . More to come 20th February 2006 - It's sounding good at rehearsals - so watch this space 2nd February 2006 - Gigs dates being finalised 25th January 2006 - New set list being organised. 4th January 2006 - New Gig dates to be confirmed 4th January 2006 - Violetz back in rehearsal studios with New Singer 1st January 2006 - New singer to be announced soon 2005 13th December 2005 - new gigs to be announced shortly and potential sponsorship. 12th December 2005 : - Search for singer continues, rumours galore as to who will take up this challenging role. 5th December 2005 : - Initial Auditions for new singer take place 4th December 2005 - Don't panic folks this gives us an opportunity to work on new material & come out with an arse kicking new set soon - so watch this space for more info. 2nd December 2005 - The Violetz after various discussions with the Chief Nannoo of the Kedonald Faith are pleased to announce their agreement in a free concert to be organised for late june / early july (dates and venue to be confirmed) (see www.kedonald.co.uk) 1st December 2005 - Violetz become the first band & website to be officially blessed, a spokesmen for the violetz said "We believe that this is a first for a rock band, many bands have turned to religion from the beatles to madonna, but we have yet to meet or hear of a band being both blessed by a religious leader & also a website being blessed" 13th November 2005 - Many thanks to our friends in the press who have given us outstanding write ups over the last few weeks. (So the Photo's wont be published now so keep the good reviews coming !!!)
